There are many ways to celebrate and honor AAPI culture and communities, including:
- Follow and explore RISD ISE’s Instagram page, where all month long, they are sharing facts, works of art, and more information relevant to AAPI culture and heritage.
- Engage in research and attend virtual events to deepen your understanding of and appreciation for AAPI culture, communities, and history. This includes reading books by AAPI authors, watching videos and live stream sessions, learning about important celebrations and holidays, and more.
- Take the time to listen to and appreciate the works of AAPI musicians and artists, including the work of our RISD community members and works on view at RISD Museum.
- View the stories of RISD’s AAPI community members through the RISDiversity project.
- Make, eat, and enjoy traditional cuisine from various countries within Asia and the Pacific Islands.
