Spirits were high on June 4, 2022, as RISD celebrated the Class of 2022, and awarded degrees to 413 undergraduate and 241 graduate students at the 139th Commencement ceremony. Additionally, the 457 undergraduate and 207 graduate students from the Class of 2020 were recognized during this event. This year’s exercises also marked President Crystal William’s first Commencement at RISD.
For the first time this year, RISD Reunion Weekend was held concurrently with the Commencement events, which provided a wonderful opportunity for alumni and families to celebrate their milestones as well as the Classes of 2020 and 2022.
